Il Fine
So I’ve decided to abandon this some such of a blog. Updates have become less frequent, mainly because I’m over broadcasting my life to people who already know what’s going on.
Toodles. If I ever get desperate I do have that livejournal…

Blaaadeeeeeblaaaa
One more week of classes, two more weeks I’ll be home and officially a senior. Scary? Just a little bit.
This weekend has been pretty sweet so far, lots of girly time which has been very much needed. Becca and I seem to have found a cruise to go on for next spring break which I am SO excited about :) but I’m trying my best not to think too much about next year, though I’m pretty sure it’s going to be amazing.
Lately I’ve been feeling like I’ve had to re-evaluate a lot of stuff going on in my life, as in how much time and effort I put into things. After getting through the summer, I really just want senior year to be as stress free for everyone as possible. A lot of times I wish we could take what we had freshman year and go back to that, but I guess things change and you’ll come out in the end with what you were supposed to end up with.
So, good news is that the informal concert is this week, which I’m really excited for, as well as the MTA formal. I’m excited to get all silly and girlied up and have some serious fun before finals take over.

Hmm..
Sometimes I feel like I’m not cool enough for some of my friends.
I’d rather eat pizza and do crafts all night anyways.

A list of things that make me happy right now.
http://www.icanhascheezburger.com/
The fact that King Leonidas is half naked on my desktop ;)
How even after 3 years, Facebook can still provide me with hours of entertaiment.
My picture screensaver is working again.
Rachel Ray.
My classes got cancelled today so all I have is tap.
Tap class.
I’m not as sick today as I was yesterday.
Despite all the shit going on right now, I know things will work out for the best and it’s comforting to know either way it goes I will have some sort of support structure.

Shitty-ness is back and it’s worse.
So, to combat it, I plan on staying up all night fiddling around on Facebook and MySpace, trying not to think about how every 30 seconds brings another question affecting the rest of my life.
Embracing all your pain…
Also, I would like a new nose. And the ability to read minds…or fly…or both.
I’m going to watch Scrubs until 6 AM. Call me if you’re bored.

Super deluxe weekend extravaganza.
This weekend was super fun. Thursday I had a complete me night, did absolutely nothing and watched TV for hours. I actually got to sleep in on Friday before going to walk puppies with Liz! I went to the liquor store with Christi and finally bought my first real personal stash of alcohol - a case of Woodchuck (awesoooome). That night after rehearsal we went to Fridays for dinner. Afterwards I went over to Walz to hang out with Becca and her friends from home, Tova and Ben. Super fun times ensued, including a rousing game of Candy Land (which has been updated since the last time I played it).
Saturday I pretty much dicked around all day until the Henry Awards, which, for you non-Muhlenbergers, is an Oscar-esque awards show for different departments on campus. Everyone gets dressied up and they decorate all fancy. There’s the awards ceremony and then a dance afterwards. A bunch of student groups perform and it’s silly and fun and totally lame, but in a good way. After the awards show we went to Walz to hang out before the dance. Absolute hilarity - I really haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. The dance was cute and silly. We came back to Becca’s where we hung around until the wee hours of the morning before I finally came back and crashed.
This weekend was the perfect remedy for the shitty-ness I’ve been feeling since being back. I also think the reason this semester has been stagnant so far is because I haven’t really been interacting with anyone new, so being able to hang out with the Marylanders was refreshing, as well as seeing people that I don’t get to see much in general. Much fun, good times and despite my raging allergy toward the city of Allentown, I feel fantastic.
Smiles all around!

My tale of drinking on a Monday
My birthday was absolutely fab this year, thanks to everyone who wished me well and celebrated with me!
Sunday night, Ash and Jane “kidnapped” me around midnight and we went to Chicken Lounge for my first legal drinks! And, seeing as I had three drinks and we were only there for an hour, I got a little silly. Went through Monday as usual (our tap class was taught by a rollerskating clown…best birthday EVER) until the evening. A bunch of us went to Applebee’s for late night appetizers and I got a couple drinks there :D Today, Dan took me to the liquor store to complete the list of everything I can now do with my new 21-ness.
Things I drank:
-some drink the bartender made me at Chicken Lounge (I don’t remember the name).
-blowjob shot
-oatmeal cookie shot
-bahama mama
-mango martini
and they were all very tasty. I got a bottle of Pinot Grigio and Cabernet at the store today and I had a glass with dinner. Hehehehehehe AHHH. I really couldn’t have asked for a better birthday….except maybe to have it on a Saturday :P
Being 21 is super.

Twin Dongs
Yesterday was pretty fun. I cut off all my hairs and donated them to Locks of Love. Got a free haircut out of it too, so that was sweet, and I love how it looks. For some reason, everyone else seems to make a bigger deal out of my hair than I do. Why is that?
We saw Blades of Glory last night. AMAZING. So incredibly funny and so glad that we finally got to see it, since for some reason we thought it came out in February and were grossly mistaken.
I’m really in the mood to go home. I get bored super easily and I wish I could just drive somewhere. I always feel like something here is wrong, don’t necessarily know what but I’m constantly wondering if I made a wrong decision. And I’ve really been missing track season lately but I’m not entirely sure why.
Oh and Falaffel (or however you spell it) night in GQ is the most wonderfully upsetting time at Muhlenberg. Check it out.

Nothing incredibly important
Saturday’s the day. Get readyyyyy.
It’s less than a week till my birthday. I’m trying not to make any sort of deal about it.
I miss home. Boo.
Its kind of sad how much people change. Meh.
My staff next year is going to be fun! I’m sooooo excited.
Tap rehearsal is going well. I really can’t wait for the show, as small as it is.
The weather is gorgeous.
Sometimes I wish it was still freshmen year.

The most useless update.
Spring break is essentially over. WTF. I did pretty much nothing all week which has been good and bad. I did register my car and it works and runs super awesome and it’s been so nice to be able to drive again. Yessssss.
The past couple days have been pretty busy. I went to the movies with Syl to see “Because I Said So” which was really cute and girly and fun. Ryan and I went to Bertucci’s and I got this most awesome mushroom ravioli. We went to see “300” yesterday too which was AWESOME. I can’t explain just how much of a guy movie it was but it was SO cool. Go see it.
Today I’m farting around until church then Dad’s making gnocchis for dinner (sweeeeet). I’m leaving super early tomorrow so I’ll prolly be back at the ‘Berg around 12 to do all the homework I didn’t do all week before stupid school starts again.
