Redesign(ed)
I think I’m done now, so at this point it’s okay to tell me about any lingering 404s or glitches. I’ve tested it in IE6 and Mozilla/Phoenix; let me know if it looks strange in your browser. Things that changed:
- It looks different. Duh.
- Added category-based archives, in addition to the date-based ones.
- Modular design: the header, footer, and blogroll are stored in separate files, so that I only have to change them in one place if I want to add a new link. You shouldn’t notice, but it makes a huge different in maintenance.
Things that haven’t changed:
- Every page should validate.
- Same structure for permalinks, and old ones are intact.
- Full post content in the RSS feed.
Changes yet to come:
- The photo will be rotated on a regular basis.
- The albums will be converted to some PHP-based photo CMS. (Any suggestions?)
- A new colophon and accessibility statement will be forthcoming.

Wish I could say I took it myself—it’s just a stock photo, though. Probably in the future some of them will be Aaron Originals ™.

Anyways, I have a picture for you I need to scan fits well with the color scheme, I thinks.

This is quite good looking. Great job. Where’d that photo come from?
